I am here to be pretty smart,
Or rather, reinforce what is left of it.

Help me grown like sprouts after the rain,
Help me shine like the stars,
The stars we no longer see these nights.
Buff me up,
Under layers and layers of sedimentary rocks,
Where diamonds lay,
I have been hiding.
Buff me up,
I am aware,
My sharp edges hurt the people around me,
Do not water me down,
Do not remove them,
Just help me live with them,
For it makes me who I am.
